It will take about 20 minutes to get to this home by car with traffic. You would go out the main gate to the left and follow the sea wall down to Mabori/Uraga split. After that go up the hill and you are in Yoshii.
Local Transportation
Bus to Kurihama Station

The nearest train station by walking is Mabori Station. It will take about 15-20 minutes to walk there, but it is uphill coming back. You can take the bus to Kurihama and take the train from there. The bus stop is about 5 minutes walking for this home. For children going to school on base, the school bus does come to this area.
Area Information
Yoshii
Yoshii is a fairly new area, going in the last 5 years. You will find many children and younger families in this area. The neighborhood has many parks. There is also a grocery store, Family Mart, \100 store, and many small family owed shops in the area. Just a short trip down the road in you are in Kurihama, which has everything a large town should. A mall, restaurants, shopping centers, and unique shops throughout the area. Also located in Kurihama is Perry Park. They hold festivals here yearly and the park is open year round.
